Accountant

**Position: Accountant (Odoo Experience Required)** Location: Dubai Industry: F&B (Food & Beverage) Salary: AED 3,000 – AED 4,000 per month Employment Type: Full-time **Role Summary** We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in the F&B industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of UAE accounting experience, strong expertise in financial operations, and hands-on experience with Odoo ERP. This role requires a high level of accuracy, compliance awareness, and the ability to manage end-to-end accounting functions. **Key Responsibilities** Financial Operations & Reporting * Record, review, and maintain daily financial transactions in Odoo * Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies * Prepare monthly financial reports, MIS reports, and management summaries Accounts Payable & Receivable * Manage invoicing, collections, and follow-ups with clients * Oversee payables and receivables, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation * Maintain proper documentation and track outstanding balances Banking & Cash Management * Perform monthly bank reconciliations * Manage petty cash, including tracking, verification, and documentation Taxation & Compliance * Handle VAT calculations, filings, and submissions in compliance with UAE regulations * Stay updated on corporate tax laws and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements Audit & Documentation * Assist in internal and external audits, including year-end closing * Maintain organized financial records and supporting documents General Accounting Functions * Handle journal entries, accruals, and provisions (including gratuity) * Manage fixed asset register and depreciation calculations * Coordinate with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and consultants **Qualifications & Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE * Mandatory hands-on experience with Odoo ERP * Strong understanding of VAT, corporate tax, and UAE compliance requirements * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting * Experience in the F&B or similar operational industry is an advantage * Strong command of English (written and verbal) * High attention to detail and strong analytical skills * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines * Immediate joiners preferred * Occasional external coordination may be required as part of the role. **Why Join Us?** * Growing retail & online business * Hands-on role with learning opportunities * Supportive team environment Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month Application Question(s): * Do you have a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE?
