**General Accountant – Job Posting (UAE)** **Job Title: Accountant** **Location: UAE (Sharjah)** **Employment Type: Full‑time** **Industry: ( Trading / Manufacturing** **Experience Required: 3–5 years in UAE** **Salary:** **Job Summary** We are looking for a **General Accountant** to manage daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with **UAE VAT regulations**. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands‑on experience with accounting software. **Key Responsibilities** **Daily Accounting** — Record AP, AR, petty cash, bank entries, and journal vouchers. **Reconciliation** — Perform monthly bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations. **VAT Filing** — Prepare VAT reports, ensure correct VAT treatment, and assist with FTA submissions. **Financial Reports** — Support month‑end closing, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow preparation. **Payroll Accounting** — Process payroll entries and EOSB calculations. **Audit Support** — Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation. **Inventory & Assets** — Maintain fixed asset register and assist with stock audits. **Cash& Cheque Management-** Petty Cash & Bank reconciliations, Cheques reconciliations. **Requirements** Bachelor’s/ Masters degree in **Accounting / Finance** 3–5 years of **UAE accounting experience** Strong knowledge of **UAE VAT** Proficiency in **Tally / QuickBooks / ZOHO/other ERP systems** Good communication and analytical skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines **Preferred Skills** **Advanced Excel** **Financial Analysis** Experience in **WPS payroll** Knowledge of Basic **FTA guidelines** Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Ability to commute/relocate: * Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Experience: * accounting: 2 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
