Accountant

**Job Summary** We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the financial operations of our growing company. This role requires a hands-on individual who can oversee day-to-day accounting, manage client-related transactions, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage full-cycle accounting, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, and receivable * Maintain accurate financial records for company and client-related transactions * Handle invoicing, collections, and tracking of service fees and disbursements * Monitor and reconcile client accounts (including client funds, where applicable) * Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports * Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare tax filings * Track project-related expenses and allocate costs appropriately * Manage payroll and staff expense reimbursements * Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and financial planning * Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities * Implement and improve internal financial controls and processes **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * 3–5 years of accounting experience (professional services or SME experience preferred) * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT laws * Experience with accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero) * Strong Excel and financial reporting skills * High level of integrity and confidentiality * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills **Preferred Qualifications** * Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) * Experience handling client accounts or segregated funds **What We’re Looking For** * A proactive individual who can work independently * Someone comfortable handling sensitive financial information * Ability to set up systems and processes in a growing company * Strong sense of accountability and reliability **What We Offer** * Opportunity to grow with the company * Exposure to strategic decision-making * Dynamic and professional work environment Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month License/Certification: * driving license (Preferred) Work Location: In person
