Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the full spectrum of financial operations for our fit-out and manufacturing business. The ideal candidate understands project-based costing, supplier payments, and the financial dynamics of a production-driven environment. Key Responsibilities * Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations * Prepare and analyze project cost reports, tracking budgets against actual expenditure for fit-out contracts * Handle material and production cost accounting, including raw material purchases, subcontractor invoices, and overheads * Process payroll for office staff, site teams, and factory workers * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports * Monitor cash flow and coordinate with project managers on billing milestones and collections * Ensure compliance with VAT filings, tax obligations, and statutory reporting requirements * Liaise with external auditors, banks, and suppliers * Maintain and improve accounting systems and internal controls * Support budgeting and forecasting processes Requirements Experience & Education * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, fit-out, manufacturing, or a project-based industry Skills & Competencies * Strong understanding of job costing and project accounting * Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or Odoo) * Solid knowledge of VAT regulations and local tax compliance * Advanced MS Excel skills * High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset * Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines * Good communication skills to coordinate with project and operations teams What We Offer * Competitive salary based on experience * Opportunity to grow within a dynamic, project-driven company * Collaborative and professional work environment * Health insurance. **How to Apply** Interested candidates may send their CV to: **[email protected]** **Job Type:** Full-time **Location:** Al Quoz industrial 3, Dubai, UAE Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED6,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
