Accountant

***Note: The Candidates should apply only with fully compliance of the below job description and should be in United Arab Emirates.*** **Accountant - Requirements** **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage. **Experience** * Minimum **5–7 years** of accounting experience in a contracting/construction company. * UAE/GCC experience preferred. * Strong understanding of construction accounting and project-based financial management. **Technical Knowledge** * Knowledge of: * Project costing and cost control * Progress billing and subcontractor payments * Accounts payable and receivable * VAT regulations in UAE * Payroll processing * Bank reconciliation * Financial reporting and budgeting * Retention, advances, and variation orders * Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, ERP systems, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar. **Responsibilities** * Maintain accurate accounting records and financial reports. * Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow. * Prepare invoices, payment certificates, and subcontractor accounts. * Handle VAT filing and compliance requirements. * Process supplier payments and employee payroll. * Reconcile bank statements and monitor receivables/payables. * Assist in audit preparation and financial closing. * Coordinate with project managers and procurement teams regarding project expenses. **Skills** * Strong analytical and numerical skills. * Attention to detail and accuracy. * Good communication and coordination skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
