Accountant

Job Title: Accountant – FMCG Industry **Location:**Ajman **Employment Type:** Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced **Accountant** with a strong background in the **FMCG industry** to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing financial transactions, inventory accounting, receivables, payables, and financial reporting within a fast-paced FMCG environment. Key Responsibilities * Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journals, and ledgers. * Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, and supplier accounts. * Monitor inventory transactions and ensure accurate inventory valuation. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. * Process supplier payments and customer collections. * Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. * Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other statutory requirements. * Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits. * Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve business performance. * Maintain accurate documentation and support finance-related reporting. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * **Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in the FMCG industry.** * Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting. * Experience handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions. * Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements. * Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, ERP systems, or similar). * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and time management abilities. Preferred Qualifications * Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA is an advantage. * Experience working with distributors, wholesalers, or modern trade customers in the FMCG sector. * Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management processes.
