Accountant

**Job Description:** * Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, bank reconciliations and financial statements * Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management * Process accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely payment and collections * Monitor cash flow, forecast financial trends and assist with budgeting * Prepare tax invoices for customers * Prepare VAT return * Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process * Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records * Assist Finance Manager in monthly stock takes **Qualifications and Requirements:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (CPA, ACCA or CA preferred) * Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE * Solid understanding of UAE VAT laws and Free Zone accounting standards * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel * Strong attention to detail and analytical skills * Knowledge of WPS payroll system is an added advantage Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
