Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accurate recording of fees related to customs clearance operations across our offices in Al Ain, Al Ghuwaifat and Khalifa Port. The role focuses on basic accounting functions, monitoring expenses, handling payments, financial reporting and assisting with VAT filling. **Key Responsibilities:** 1- Record daily financial transactions (cash, bank, expenses, invoices). 2- Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts in the accounting system. (experience in Oddo is advantage) 3-Issue customer invoices related to customs clearance services and follow up on outstanding receivables. 4- Perform bank reconciliations for daily (Customs Tasheel Account). 5- Monitor cash collections from clearance agents and report shortages or discrepancies. 6- Prepare basic financial reports (monthly expenses, income summary), and maintain proper filing of financial documents **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * 1–3 years of accounting experience (experience in logistics/customs clearance is a plus). * Basic knowledge of accounting principles. * Familiarity with VAT regulations (UAE experience preferred). * Fluency in English is required - Company provides accommodation and transportation Pay: AED2,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
