Accountant

* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * **Technical Skills:** Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, pivot tables) and enterprise accounting systems like QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or Oracle NetSuite. * **Soft Skills:** Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills to present quantitative data to non-financial stakeholders. * **Financial Reporting:** Prepare and publish periodic financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets. * **Reconciliation:** Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, bank statements, and general ledgers to resolve discrepancies. * **Compliance & Tax:** Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS) and assist with computing and filing tax returns. * **Budgeting & Analysis:** Assist in developing budgets, forecasting cash flows, and analyzing revenue or expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities.
