Accountant

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Key Responsibilities * Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and expenses. * Prepare and issue customer invoices and process supplier payments accurately and on time. * Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely collections and payments. * Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records. * Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and audit documentation. * Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, accounting standards, and company financial policies and procedures. * Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation for audits and regulatory requirements. * Support month-end and year-end closing activities. * Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors, suppliers, and customers on accounting-related matters. * Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. * 1–2 years of accounting experience is preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. * Experience in trading industry is an advantage. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Tally accounting software. * High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity. * Work under pressure * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
