**About the Role**
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced **Accountant** to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring expenses, preparing reports, and supporting management with clear financial insights.
This role requires someone who is organized, reliable, and confident in handling accounts, reconciliations, supplier payments, payroll support, and financial documentation in a fast-paced business environment.
**Key Responsibilities :**
* Manage daily accounting entries, expense records, invoices, receipts, and payment records.
* Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
* Maintain supplier statements, payment schedules, and invoice records.
* Reconcile sales reports, cash, card payments, online payments, and bank deposits.
* Monitor operational expenses and support cost-control activities.
* Assist in payroll preparation, staff advances, deductions, and related records.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management.
* Maintain petty cash records and ensure proper documentation.
* Support VAT/tax documentation, filing preparation, and compliance requirements.
* Coordinate with suppliers, auditors, banks, and internal departments when required.
* Maintain proper filing of financial documents and ensure records are updated.
* Work with accounting software and spreadsheets to ensure accurate reporting.
**Requirements :**
* Minimum **3+ years of experience** in an accounting role.
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, payments, and financial reporting.
* Experience with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, or similar.
* Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
* Understanding of VAT/tax documentation and compliance requirements.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
* Honest, organized, responsible, and professional in handling financial data.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
**Preferred Qualifications :**
* Experience in the hospitality, retail, or F&B sector will be an advantage.
* Knowledge of cost control, inventory-related expenses, and supplier account management.
* Ability to prepare clear management reports and financial summaries.
