Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally Prime/ERP.
* Prepare and record sales invoices, purchase invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
* Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
* Perform bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
* Prepare monthly financial reports, ledgers, and account reconciliations.
* Process payroll, leave salaries, overtime, and employee reimbursements.
* Prepare and file VAT returns while ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
* Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
* Support external audits by preparing financial records and required documentation.
* Monitor cash flow and prepare payment schedules for suppliers.
* Maintain accurate filing of financial documents and records.
Administrative Responsibilities
* Manage office administration and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
* Prepare and maintain contracts, correspondence, reports, and official letters.
* Coordinate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and government authorities.
* Handle document control, filing systems, and record management.
* Process employee onboarding, visa documentation, insurance, and HR records.
* Maintain attendance records, leave management, and personnel files.
* Coordinate office supplies, stationery, and equipment procurement.
* Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and arrange travel when required.
* Handle company email correspondence and telephone inquiries professionally.
* Assist management with project documentation, quotations, and tender submissions.
* Maintain company licenses, trade license renewals, and other regulatory documentation.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and administrative procedures.
Required Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
* 2–5 years of experience as an Accountant Cum Admin, preferably in the construction or contracting industry.
* Proficiency in Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting principles.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in UAE contracting, maintenance, or facilities management companies.
* Knowledge of payroll processing and HR administration.
* Familiarity with ERP systems and document management software.
