Accountant

Key Responsibilities * Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting entries. * Record daily financial transactions including purchases, sales, payments, and receipts. * Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. * Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and audits. * Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. * Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions. * Support budgeting and forecasting activities and monitor financial performance against budgets. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company procedures. * Prepare tax-related documents and required government financial reports. * Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost control and financial improvement. * Assist with payroll processing and employee expense management. * Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and financial stakeholders when required. * Support the finance department with administrative and operational tasks. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * Proven experience in accounting or finance. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. * Good communication and teamwork skills.
