Accountant

Job Summary Almousl for Domestic Workers Services is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, preparing financial reports, and overseeing all accounting activities. We are looking for a professional with strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and proven experience handling a full range of accounting functions. Key Responsibilities * Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Record, review, and reconcile financial transactions accurately and timely. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. * Maintain the general ledger and ensure all accounting records are up to date. * Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. * Process payroll and ensure accurate employee payments. * Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations. * Monitor budgets, expenses, and company financial performance. * Assist with audits and provide required financial documentation. * Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. * Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules. * Support management with financial analysis, forecasting, and business planning. * Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government authorities when required. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience (experience in UAE preferred). * Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, VAT, and UAE financial regulations. * Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tally, ERP systems, or similar). * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. * Experience handling full-cycle accounting independently. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage. Preferred Qualifications * Professional accounting certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent) is an advantage. * Experience in service-based companies or manpower/domestic worker service businesses. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
