Accountant

Zapegg Tax Consultant is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Accountant to join our growing team in Dubai**. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting clients with their accounting and tax-related requirements. This role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles. **Key Responsibilities** * Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. * Process invoices, payments, and expense reports. * Assist clients with bookkeeping and accounting requirements. * Prepare and review VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations. * Support tax planning, audits, and financial reporting activities. * Monitor cash flow and prepare financial forecasts when required. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. * Coordinate with clients, auditors, and regulatory authorities as needed. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar accounting role. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. * Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and tax compliance requirements. * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. * Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. **Preferred Skills** * Experience working in a tax consultancy, accounting firm, or audit environment. * Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tally, or ERP systems. * Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage. * Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines efficiently. **Benefits** * Competitive salary package. * Visa and medical insurance as per UAE labor law. * Annual leave and other statutory benefits. * Professional development and career advancement opportunities. * Exposure to diverse industries and client portfolios. * Supportive and collaborative work environment.
