Accountant (FMCG)

**Roles and Responsibilities** * Record purchases accurately in the ERP system across the group. * Verify and post all expenses, supplier bills, and other relevant transactions. * Conduct vendor and customer account reconciliations to ensure accuracy. * Perform daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. * Follow up on customer payments to maintain healthy cash flow. * Reconcile inventory records across the group to ensure proper stock management. * File VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations. * (Optional) Provide insights on corporate tax-related matters. * Utilize and maintain familiarity with ERP systems to streamline processes. * Apply basic knowledge of import-export logistics processes and documentation, including bills of lading, customs clearance, and freight coordination. * Be flexible and open to taking on additional tasks as required. **Desired Candidate Profile** * Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum 2–3 years of relevant work experience in the UAE. * Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and filing procedures. * Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software. * Excellent organizational and reconciliation skills. * Knowledge of corporate tax is a plus. * Basic understanding of import-export logistics processes and related documentation is preferred. * Exceptional communication and follow-up skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED7,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
