Accountant - Foodstuff trading company

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Key Responsibilities * **Financial Transactions**: Record all financial transactions accurately in the accounting system * **Bank Reconciliation**: Prepare and reconcile bank statements regularly * **Invoice Management**: Process invoices, payments, and receivables * **Inventory Accounting**: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team * **Financial Reporting**: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial Profit/ Loss report * **Budget Monitoring**: Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenditures * **Tax Compliance**: Ensure compliance with VAT and other tax regulations in the UAE * **Audit Support**: Coordinate with external auditors during audits * **Cash Management**: Handle cash flow, collections, and payments * **General Ledger**: Maintain and update the general ledger * **Petty Cash**: Manage petty cash and disbursements Required Qualifications * **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * **Experience**: 2-5 years of accounting experience in UAE, preferably in trading or foodstuff companies * **Language**: Proficiency in English Required Skills * Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations * Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) * Excellent MS Excel skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Attention to detail and accuracy * Good communication and interpersonal skills What We Offer * Competitive salary (based on experience) * Annual leave * Medical insurance * Professional development opportunities * Friendly and supportive work environment Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month Work Location: Remote
