Accountant – Real Estate & Property Management

Job Title: Accountant – Real Estate & Property Management **Location:** Dubai, UAE Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in Real Estate, Property Management, and Contracting industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, handling property-related accounting transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Key Responsibilities * Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions. * Maintain accurate records of property income, expenses, leases, and service charges. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. * Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. * Monitor rent collections, tenant accounts, and vendor payments. * Process invoices, purchase orders, and contractor payments. * Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. * Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE regulations. * Coordinate with auditors and support annual audit activities. * Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules. * Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in Real Estate or Property Management. * Experience in Contracting industry will be highly preferred. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and VAT regulations. * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. * Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications * Experience handling multiple properties and project-based accounting. * Knowledge of property management accounting systems. * Professional accounting certifications (ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent) will be an advantage.
