Accountant – Rent A Car Experience Required

**Key Responsibilities:** * Oversee and manage the **entire accounting function** of the company * Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual **financial closing and reporting** * Prepare and present **financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports** * Monitor and control **cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting** * Ensure full compliance with **UAE VAT regulations and statutory requirements** * Manage **fleet accounting**, including vehicle acquisition, depreciation, disposal, and leasing structures * Analyze financial performance and provide **strategic recommendations** to improve profitability * Supervise accounts payable/receivable and ensure proper internal controls * Coordinate with **external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities** * Develop and implement **financial policies, procedures, and cost-control measures** * Identify risks and ensure **proper financial governance and compliance** * Support management in **business planning and decision-making** **Requirements:** * Minimum **4–6 years of accounting experience in the Rent A Car industry (mandatory)** * Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting, Finance, or related field** (ACCA/CPA/CMA is a strong advantage) * Strong knowledge of **UAE VAT, corporate tax, and financial regulations** * Proven experience in **financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting** * Hands-on experience in **fleet accounting** (vehicle depreciation, leasing, disposals, costing) * Strong command of **accounting software** (Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems, etc.) * Experience in handling **audits, compliance, and regulatory reporting** * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and **decision-making skills** * Ability to **manage and oversee the full finance function independently** * Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines * Good communication skills and ability to **coordinate with senior management** Job Type: Permanent Application Question(s): * Do you have at least 4 years of accounting experience in the Rent A Car industry? * Which accounting software have you used? * Do you have experience handling fleet-related accounting (vehicle depreciation, leasing, etc.)? * Are you currently based in the UAE?
