ACCOUNTING MANAGER

### **Role Overview** An Accounting Manager is responsible for **overseeing financial operations, managing accounting teams, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations**. ### **Key Responsibilities** **1. Financial Management** * Oversee daily accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, payroll) * Ensure accuracy of financial records and transactions * Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements **2. Budgeting & Forecasting** * Develop and manage company budgets * Monitor expenses and financial performance * Provide financial forecasts and analysis to management **3. Team Leadership** * Supervise and guide accounting staff * Assign tasks and review team performance * Provide training and support to junior accountants **4. Compliance & Audit** * Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS or GAAP) * Coordinate internal and external audits * Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections **5. Reporting & Analysis** * Prepare financial reports for senior management * Analyze profit/loss, cash flow, and cost control * Identify financial risks and suggest improvements **6. Tax & Regulatory Work** * Ensure timely tax filing and compliance * Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants * Stay updated with financial regulations ### **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting, Finance, or related field** * Professional certification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CMA) * 5–10+ years of accounting experience * Strong knowledge of accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.) * Leadership and analytical skills * Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP standards ### **Typical Benefits (UAE / Gulf Roles)** * Salary: AED 10,000 – 25,000+ (based on experience) * Performance bonuses * Visa + medical insurance * Annual leave + airfare (some companies) ### **Career Growth** Senior Accountant Accounting Manager Finance Manager Financial Controller * CFO
