Application Engineer-Milestone

Design, deploy, and configure Milestone XProtect VMS solutions based on client requirements. Conduct site surveys to determine camera placement, system architecture, and network infrastructure for optimal performance. Integrate Milestone systems with third-party security systems, such as access control, video analytics, and intrusion detection. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for Milestone deployments, including software updates, patch management, and performance optimization. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of the security solutions. Conduct system testing and validation to ensure system functionality, performance, and compliance with industry standards. Train clients and end-users on the operation and maintenance of Milestone systems. Create comprehensive documentation, including system diagrams, user manuals, and technical reports. Stay updated with the latest advancements and certifications in Milestone technologies. Strong understanding of IP-based surveillance systems, network protocols, and video analytics. Proficiency in integrating security systems with Genetec and Milestone, such as access control, intrusion detection, and video analytics. Certification: Milestone Certified Integration Technician (MCIT) or higher-level certifications like Milestone Certified Integration Engineer (MCIE). CEM certifications, Genetec Certified Engineer (GCE) / Genetec Certified Specialist (GCS) is an added advantage.
