Architectural Draftsman

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to support the development and delivery of architectural documentation across all project stages. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings, coordinated shop drawings, and construction documentation that translate design intent into executable deliverables, while ensuring compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, and applicable UAE codes and standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare and develop architectural drawings, including concept support drawings, design development packages, tender drawings, detailed design drawings, and Issued for Construction (IFC) documentation. * Produce detailed architectural shop drawings, plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, schedules, and construction details. * Translate architectural concepts, sketches, and design mark-ups into accurate and coordinated technical documentation. * Develop and update as-built drawings based on site conditions, redline markups, and project modifications. * Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, interior design, and multidisciplinary consultant drawings to ensure technical integration and clash-free documentation. * Support preparation of authority submission drawings and documentation in line with Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM), Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), Civil Defense, and other regulatory requirements. * Assist in the preparation and review of material submittals, technical details, mock-up drawings, and shop drawing submissions for consultant approval. * Review drawings for compliance with design standards, project specifications, local regulations, and constructability requirements. * Liaise with architects, design managers, engineers, consultants, and site teams to incorporate technical comments and resolve drafting-related issues. * Conduct site visits, field measurements, and drawing verification when required to support construction progress and as-built documentation. * Maintain drawing registers, revision control, document management, and adherence to company CAD/BIM standards. **Qualifications & Requirements:** * Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related discipline. * Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting, preferably within the UAE. * Proven experience in preparing architectural shop drawings and construction documentation for building projects. * Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, authority regulations, and submission procedures, particularly within Abu Dhabi. * Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. * Working knowledge of Revit/BIM is highly preferred. * Sound understanding of construction detailing, materials, methods, and coordination practices. * Strong technical accuracy, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
