Architectural Draftsman / BIM Draftsman **Location:** United Arab Emirates **Company:** Durat Al Khaleej Contracting (L.L.C.) **Experience Required:** 5–8 Years **Employment Type:** Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented **Architectural Draftsman / BIM Draftsman** with 5–8 years of experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate architectural drawings, coordinating with engineers and project teams, and supporting BIM and CAD operations for ongoing projects. The candidate must possess strong technical drafting skills, solid knowledge of construction standards, and hands-on experience with CAD and BIM software. Key Responsibilities * Analyze and understand building specifications, site conditions, and applicable codes and regulations * Prepare detailed architectural drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation based on sketches and specifications * Ensure all drawings contain accurate measurements, calculations, and code compliance * Develop and revise 2D and 3D drawings using CAD and BIM software * Update CAD data into BIM systems for rendering and 3D modeling purposes * Coordinate with Construction Managers, Engineers, and consultants regarding drawing revisions and technical requirements * Prepare engineering change notices and update drawings accordingly * Conduct site visits for measurements, dimension verification, and coordination when required * Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures * Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and technical documentation * Stay updated with the latest architectural drafting technologies and industry trends Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field * Minimum **5–8 years of proven experience** as an Architectural Draftsman, BIM Draftsman, or similar role in the construction industry * **ADDA Certification is mandatory** * Strong knowledge of architectural and construction drawings * Proficiency in: * AutoCAD * Autodesk Revit * ArchiCAD * TurboCAD * Familiarity with architectural codes, specifications, and construction standards * Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills * Excellent drafting and technical detailing abilities * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines * Willingness to travel to project sites when required * Good communication and coordination skills Preferred Qualifications * Experience in BIM coordination and 3D modeling * GCC/UAE construction experience is an advantage * Knowledge of HSE requirements and engineering standards How to Apply Interested candidates may send their updated CV to: **[email protected]** **Subject Line:** Application for Architectural Draftsman / BIM Draftsman Position Education: * Bachelor's (Required) Experience: * Architectural Draftsman / BIM Draftsman: 5 years (Required) Work Location: In person
