Assistant Accountant

Job Title: **Assistant Accountant** Location: Dubai, UAE Job Type: Full-Time **Job Summary** We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, experience in UAE accounting practices, and the ability to handle daily accounting activities efficiently. **Key Responsibilities** * Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and financial transactions. * Prepare sales invoices, purchase entries, receipts, and payment vouchers. * Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. * Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable management. * Prepare and maintain financial reports and supporting schedules. * Assist with VAT documentation, filing, and compliance. * Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with customers when required. * Support month-end and year-end closing activities. * Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents. * Assist the Finance Manager with various accounting and administrative tasks. **Requirements** * Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. * Minimum 1 year of UAE accounting experience in a similar role. * Good knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations. * Proficiency in accounting software and Tally. * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. **Preferred Skills** * Experience with ERP/accounting software such as Tally, Excel * Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. * Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
