AV Project Engineer

**Full job description** **AV Technical Engineer – Abu Dhabi, UAE** **Experience Required:** * Minimum 2+ years of experience as an AV Technical Engineer * Install, configure, and maintain Audio-Visual systems, including: * Professional Sound Systems * Public Address (PA) Systems * Background Music Systems * Video Conferencing Systems * Meeting Room and Boardroom Solutions * Digital Signage Systems * LED Display and Video Wall Systems * Projectors and Projection Screens * Interactive Displays and Smart Boards * Multimedia Control Systems * Configure and integrate AV equipment with network infrastructure and IT systems. * Perform system programming, configuration, and commissioning of AV control and automation systems. * Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve AV, networking, and system integration issues. * Conduct testing, commissioning, and system acceptance procedures to ensure optimal performance. * Review AV system drawings, technical submittals, and design documentation. * Ensure all AV installations comply with project specifications, authority requirements, manufacturer recommendations, and industry standards. * Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation of installed AV systems. * Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors throughout project execution. * Supervise technicians during installation, testing, and commissioning activities. * Support the design team by providing technical input for AV system layouts, equipment selection, and integration requirements. * Prepare as-built documentation, configuration records, and system handover documentation. * Maintain system backups, software licenses, network credentials, and project documentation. * Perform preventive maintenance and periodic health checks on installed AV systems. * Ensure timely resolution of service requests and client support tickets. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities * Conduct detailed site surveys and prepare technical reports * Troubleshooting of Audio-Visual systems and related equipment. * Basic troubleshooting of network infrastructure supporting AV systems. * Configuration of AV control processors, DSPs, amplifiers, digital mixers, and networked AV devices. * Integration of AV systems with existing IT, ELV, and security infrastructure. * Supervision and technical support of installation teams. * Participation in project planning, design reviews, and technical meetings. * Management of system documentation and site credentials. **Strong Experience In:** * Audio Visual System Installation (Audio, Video & Control) * AV Control Systems Programming * Video Conferencing Systems * Digital Signage Systems * Meeting Room & Boardroom AV Solutions * Projectors, LED Displays & Video Walls * Audio DSP Configuration & Tuning **Requirements:** * Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory) * Must be currently residing in the UAE * Strong problem-solving and technical documentation skills Work Location: In person
