Job Summary:
The Branch Accountant is responsible for handling daily accounting activities, cash management, sales reconciliation, inventory coordination, supplier payment follow-up, and ensuring accurate financial records for the branch operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle daily branch accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
* Verify daily sales reports, POS transactions, and cash collections.
* Perform daily cash reconciliation and coordinate bank deposits.
* Monitor branch expenses and maintain proper documentation.
* Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
* Coordinate with the warehouse and inventory team for stock verification and adjustments.
* Monitor supplier invoices, credit notes, and payment follow-ups.
* Ensure proper filing of vouchers, invoices, and accounting documents.
* Support internal and external audit requirements.
* Monitor petty cash and ensure proper approval procedures.
* Assist in payroll-related documentation and staff reimbursements when required.
* Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
* Coordinate with the Head Office Finance Department for reporting and approvals.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Minimum 2–4 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or hypermarket accounting.
* Good knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
* Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience in retail or FMCG sector.
* Knowledge of inventory accounting and stock control.
* Familiarity with ERP systems.
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per hour
