CAD Operator

One Works DMCC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Operator to join our project team for the current Project. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, modifying, and coordinating technical drawings related to MEP and Architectural works in accordance with project specifications, consultant requirements, and company standards. The ideal candidate should have atleast 5 years of experience in CAD drafting and BIM modelling, a diploma in civil engineering, and proficiency in Civil 3D, 4D, Revit, Autodesk Infraworks, and AutoCAD. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and revise 2D, 3D CAD drawings for MEP and Architectural works. * Develop shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings. * Coordinate with Engineers, BIM Coordinators, and Site Teams for drawing updates and technical clarifications. * Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, authority regulations, and consultant requirements. * Maintain proper drawing registers and document control procedures. * Review and update drawings based on site conditions and consultant comments. * Support the BIM and engineering teams with drafting requirements. * Extract details, sections, schedules, and layouts from design drawings. * Ensure timely submission of drawings as per project deadlines. * Maintain organized records of all revisions and drawing versions. Requirements * Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a CAD Operator in construction projects. * Experience in airport, commercial, or large-scale infrastructure projects preferred. * Strong knowledge of MEP and Architectural drafting standards. * Proficiency in: * AutoCAD * Revit (preferred) * Microsoft Office * Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. * Good coordination and communication skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Skills * Experience working in UAE construction projects. * Knowledge of BIM coordination processes. * Familiarity with authority submission requirements in the UAE. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
