Chartered Accountant - Contracting/Construction experienced CA

**Job Title: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Contracting Industry** **Location:** UAE **Employment Type:** Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 5 years of UAE experience in the contracting/construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounting and finance functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, project cost control, budgeting, compliance, and effective financial management across multiple projects. Key Responsibilities * Manage the complete accounting and finance functions of the contracting business. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. * Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability across ongoing projects. * Review project-wise revenue recognition, work-in-progress (WIP), and cost allocations. * Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow forecasting. * Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other statutory requirements. * Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities. * Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management. * Monitor budget performance and identify cost-saving opportunities. * Oversee payroll accounting and employee-related financial transactions. * Ensure proper internal controls and financial governance are maintained. * Support tendering and project teams with financial inputs and costing analysis. * Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, and project accounts. * Prepare MIS reports and financial dashboards for senior management. * Ensure timely closure of accounts and completion of audit requirements. Requirements * Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). * Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in a contracting/construction company. * Strong knowledge of project accounting, construction finance, and cost control. * Thorough understanding of UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting standards. * Experience working with ERP/accounting software. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis. * Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Candidate Profile * Minimum 5 years of UAE contracting/construction industry experience. * Available to join within a reasonable notice period. * Strong commercial and financial management capabilities. * Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada speakers are preferred.
