Civil Draftsman

**Job Summary** We are seeking a highly detailed Civil Draftsman with specialized experience in Fibreglass (GRP/FRP) fabrication and structural drafting to join our team in the UAE. The candidate will translate engineering concepts and site measurements into accurate workshop, fabrication, and shop drawings using AutoCAD. **Key Responsibilities** Fabrication & Shop Drawings: Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and shop layouts for fiberglass products, including panels, molds, custom architectural fiberglass structures, and sectional details. Structural Drafting: Produce detailed drawings for GRP/FRP supporting steel structures, and composite frameworks. Technical Interpretation: Translate hand sketches, engineer notes, and site measurements into accurate, high-quality 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings. Coordination: Coordinate closely with the fabrication workshop, production team, and site installation team to ensure design feasibility and accuracy. Material Optimization: Assist in material take-offs and shop drawing revisions to minimize wastage of fiberglass materials. Authority Submissions: Prepare drawings for authority approvals . **Requirements** Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Civil or Structural Draftsman within the UAE, specifically in a Fiberglass (GRP), Aluminum/Glass, or Steel Fabrication industry. Software Proficiency: Expert proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D). Experience in 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Revit) is a significant advantage. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of shop drawing standards, structural details, and sectional views. Communication: Good communication skills in English; familiarity with Hindi/Arabic is a plus. Education: Diploma or ITI in Civil/Mechanical Drafting or equivalent.
