Civil Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine material, labor, and time requirements while ensuring competitiveness and profitability. **Key Responsibilities** * Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities). * Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil works including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracting. * Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis. * Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations. * Prepare tender submissions, including technical and commercial proposals. * Identify project risks and opportunities and incorporate them into pricing. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams. * Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client discussions when required. * Maintain updated cost databases and historical records. * Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards and regulations. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. * 3–7 years of experience as a Civil Estimator in the UAE construction industry. * Strong knowledge of local market rates, materials, and subcontractors. * Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., CCS, Candy, PlanSwift) and MS Excel. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is an advantage. * Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. * Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders.
