Civil Foreman

The Civil Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all civil construction activities at the project site. The role ensures that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The Civil Foreman will manage workers, monitor daily site activities, and coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and other departments to achieve project objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** * Supervise and manage daily civil construction activities on site. * Allocate tasks and monitor the performance of workers and subcontractors. * Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. * Coordinate with Site Engineers, QA/QC team, and Project Manager regarding work progress and site requirements. * Monitor manpower, tools, materials, and equipment usage at site. * Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices are maintained at all times. * Inspect ongoing work to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements. * Report daily progress, delays, and site issues to management. * Assist in planning work schedules and achieving project deadlines. * Coordinate with other departments such as MEP, procurement, and store for smooth project execution. * Ensure materials are properly utilized and minimize wastage. * Attend site meetings when required. * Maintain discipline and productivity among workers at site. **Requirements & Qualifications:** * Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Foreman in construction projects. * Diploma or Technical Certificate in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred. * Strong knowledge of civil construction works, including concrete, masonry, plastering, finishing, and structural works. * Ability to read and understand construction drawings and site layouts. * Good leadership and team management skills. * Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures. * Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. * Good communication and coordination skills. * Experience in GCC/Qatar construction projects is an advantage.
