Job Title: Civil Project Engineer
Must be flexible to work anywhere in UAE
Job Summary
The Civil Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved specifications and quality standards. The role involves managing site operations, coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise day-to-day construction activities on site.
* Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure proper execution of works.
* Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve project objectives.
* Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress reports.
* Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, quality standards, and project schedules.
* Identify and resolve technical issues arising during project execution.
* Monitor labor, materials, and equipment utilization to optimize project performance.
* Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Prepare and review method statements, material submittals, and technical documentation.
* Assist in project planning, cost control, and resource allocation.
* Attend project meetings and provide technical support to stakeholders.
* Coordinate project handover activities and ensure completion of snagging and closeout requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
* Minimum 5–8 years of experience in building construction projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering principles, and local regulations.
* Experience in project execution, site management, and contractor coordination.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
* UAE/GCC construction experience preferred.
