Responsibilities * Oversee and manage all coating, blasting, and painting activities to ensure adherence to project specifications and industry standards. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and quality control teams to plan and execute coating strategies effectively. * Inspect surfaces and prepare them for coating application, ensuring proper blasting and cleaning procedures are followed. * Monitor and maintain coating equipment, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with safety protocols. * Implement and enforce safety regulations across all coating, blasting, and painting operations. * Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to ensure the durability and integrity of coatings applied. * Lead, train, and supervise a team of coating and painting technicians, fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Coating Technology, or related field preferred. * Minimum of 5 years experience in coating, blasting, and painting within the oil and gas industry. * In-depth knowledge of surface preparation, coating application techniques, and relevant industry standards (such as NACE or SSPC). * Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to supervise and motivate a technical team. * Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices related to coating and painting operations. * Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and inspection reports. * Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and solve problems effectively in a fast-paced environment.
