Cost Accountant / Cost Analyst – Joinery / Furniture Manufacturing Industry

**Position Title:** Cost Accountant / Cost Analyst **Industry:** Furniture Manufacturing / Joinery / Fit-Out **Location:** Sharjah **Salary Dhs. 15,000 + Other Benefits** We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant / Cost Analyst with a strong background in the furniture manufacturing, joinery, or fit-out industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing production costs, monitoring project profitability, controlling budgets, preparing cost reports, and supporting management in making informed financial decisions. The candidate should have hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, material costing, labor costing, BOQ analysis, and inventory control **.Key Responsibilitie** * Prepare and maintain product costing, project costing, and manufacturing cost reports * Analyze raw material, labor, overhead, and subcontractor costs for furniture manufacturing and fit-out projects * Develop standard costing models and monitor actual costs against budgeted costs * Review Bills of Materials (BOM), production routings, and manufacturing processes to determine accurate product costs * Monitor inventory valuation, material consumption, and stock movements * Conduct variance analysis on material, labor, and overhead costs and provide recommendations for cost reduction * Prepare monthly cost analysis reports and profitability reports for management review * Collaborate with Production, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and control * Evaluate quotations, BOQs, and project estimates to ensure profitability * Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities * Monitor wastage, scrap, and production inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions * Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to inventory and cost accounting * Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls * Participate in ERP system implementation, costing modules, and process improvements **.Required Qualification** * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Cost Accounting, or a related field * Professional certification such as CMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred * **Minimum 3–7 years of experience in Cost Accounting or Cost Analysis** * **Mandatory experience in Furniture Manufacturing, Joinery, Woodworking, Interior Fit-Out, or Construction Manufacturing industries** * Strong understanding of manufacturing costing, project costing, and inventory management * Experience in BOM costing, standard costing, variance analysis, and cost control * Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar manufacturing ERP systems * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial modeling * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills * Excellent communication and coordination abilities Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month Application Question(s): * Do you have a working experience as Cost Controller / Cost Analyst with the Furniture Manufacturing / Joinery / Fit-Out Industries? * How many years of Furniture and Home Furnishings Manufacturing experience do you currently have?
