Cost Accountant cum Procurement Executive

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Accountant cum Procurement Executive to manage cost accounting and procurement operations for construction/precast projects, ensuring accurate cost control, financial reporting, and efficient material procurement in line with company standards. Job Responsibilities: * Handle day-to-day cost accounting including material costing, job costing, and cost analysis; prepare periodic cost reports. * Monitor project costs and maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and material consumption. * Coordinate with project, production, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting. * Source suppliers, obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate for best procurement value. * Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials as per project needs . * Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an approved vendor database. * Ensure cost efficiency in procurement while maintaining quality standards and delivery timelines. * Support month-end closing, financial reporting, and audit requirements related to cost and procurement. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Finance. * 3–5 years of experience in cost accounting and procurement (precast/construction preferred). * Strong knowledge of costing methods, job costing, inventory control, and ERP/accounting systems. * Ability to monitor project-wise costs, prepare cost reports, and perform variance analysis. * Experience in budget tracking, cost control, and cost reduction techniques * Knowledge of procurement cycle including sourcing, RFQs, negotiation, and purchase order processing. * Strong vendor management and supplier evaluation skills. * Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to coordinate effectively with project, procurement, and finance teams.
