Cost Engineer

**Duties and Responsibilities:** * Monitor project costs and expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets. * Perform cost analysis and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle. * Implement and monitor Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to track project performance and cost efficiency. * Evaluate variations, claims, and change orders, and assess their financial impact on the project. * Coordinate with project managers, planning engineers, procurement teams, and site personnel to obtain accurate cost data. * Prepare periodic cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and management presentations. * Analyze project risks and recommend cost-control measures to improve project profitability. * Review subcontractor and supplier quotations and provide commercial recommendations. * Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual requirements, and project cost control standards. * Maintain accurate records of project costs, commitments, and financial performance. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. * Minimum 8 years of experience as a Cost Engineer in high-rise building construction projects. * Minimum 5 years of UAE construction experience. * Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and cost analysis techniques. * Professional certification such as CCP, PMP, or Construction Management certification is preferred. * Good knowledge of project planning and scheduling principles. * Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and project financial reporting. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost control software. * Excellent communication and coordination skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. **Location:** UAE **Job Type:** Full-time Work Location: In person
