Dental Service Engineer

The Remote Support and Dental Service Engineer will be required to provide technical / administrative assistance for 1st and 2nd level support related to Carestream Dental, hardware, or software. The individual will respond to queries, follow escalation processes, provide licenses and spare parts to the customer. The Remote Support and Dental Service Engineer will also be required to run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, determine and implements solutions. (50% of role) Within the field service environment, the individual will support the dealer network, internal team and end user with technical issues, resolving issues and provide the necessary technical and application training to Carestream Dental staff, dealer technicians and customers with a specialism in DICOM environments (50% of role). The individual will be expected to deliver outstanding customer service whether remotely or in the field. Requirements: * Technical Education in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical and/or IT electrical environment * Proven experience in servicing and installing equipment, computers and software * Knowledge of PC operating systems like Microsoft Windows * Network knowledge * 3+ years technical engineering skills * Ability to understand and identify electronic system/software malfunctions and operational problems. * Fluent English; must have excellent verbal/written communication skills (proven by a test) * Excellent Interpersonal Skills * Excellent Communication Skills (verbal & written) * Excellent Organization skills and establishing priorities following the escalation process * Excellent Time Management Skills * Attention to detail * Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical individuals * The ability to develop and increase knowledge of all Carestream Dental systems and applications as required by the organisation and job role. * Knowledge of basics- Digital equipment used within the dental environment and X-rays. * Committed to continuous education through self-learning, workshops, seminars conferences etc
