Design Engineer-Fabrication industry

Position: Design Engineer Department: Engineering / Design Location: Umm Al Quwain, UAE Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and design calculations. * Review project specifications, BOQ, and contract requirements. * Develop shop drawings and fabrication drawings. * Coordinate with project and site teams for design clarifications. * Ensure designs comply with local regulations and industry standards. * Perform technical analysis and material selection. * Revise drawings as per client/consultant comments. * Support estimation team with technical inputs during tender stage. * Maintain proper documentation and drawing control records. * Assist in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives. Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering. * 3–8 years of relevant design experience (UAE/GCC preferred). * Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of other design software preferred. * Strong technical and analytical skills. * Good coordination and communication abilities.
