Design Manager – Interior Fit-Out

**Job Summary** Kalandoor Group, a leading interior design and fit-out company in Dubai, is hiring an experienced **Design Manager – Interior Fit-Out** to lead our design department. The ideal candidate will have strong UAE/GCC experience in **turnkey interior fit-out projects**, managing design teams from concept through execution across commercial, hospitality, retail, and corporate sectors. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can combine **creative design leadership with technical fit-out expertise** and deliver high-quality interior solutions on time and within budget. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the interior design team across multiple fit-out projects in Dubai and the UAE * Manage full design lifecycle: concept, schematic design, detailed design, and execution support * Ensure designs align with client briefs, budgets, and project timelines * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and site teams * Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, materials, and FF&E specifications * Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, and UAE authority regulations * Conduct client presentations and manage design approvals and revisions * Provide value engineering solutions while maintaining design integrity * Oversee design schedules and ensure timely delivery of all design milestones * Mentor and guide junior designers and technical staff * Ensure high-quality design output consistent with luxury fit-out standards **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field * **8–12+ years of experience in interior design with strong interior fit-out background (UAE/GCC mandatory)** * Minimum 3–5 years in a Design Manager / Senior Design Lead role * Proven experience in **turnkey interior fit-out projects in Dubai/UAE** * Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, joinery, FF&E, and site execution * Excellent leadership, coordination, and client communication skills * Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent) * Strong understanding of UAE construction codes and authority approvals **Preferred Skills** * Experience with leading UAE interior fit-out contractors * Strong commercial awareness and project cost understanding * Ability to manage multiple fast-track projects * Strong presentation and concept development skills Application Question(s): * Driver's License? * Available Immediately?
