Desktop Support Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer who can join immediately to provide technical assistance and support for end-users. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware/software issues, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide first-level technical support to end-users (onsite and remote). * Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. * Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. * Manage user accounts, permissions, and access (Active Directory). * Install and support operating systems (Windows, macOS) and business applications. * Handle IT helpdesk tickets and ensure timely resolution as per SLA. * Support email systems (e.g., Outlook, Office 365). * Perform system upgrades, patches, and antivirus updates. * Maintain asset inventory and documentation. * Assist with basic network troubleshooting (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN). * Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements. **Required Skills & Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field. * 1-2 years of experience in relevant field. * Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and common business applications. * Familiarity with Active Directory, user management, and group policies. * Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). * Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools. * Knowledge of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. **Preferred Skills** * Experience with Office 365 administration. * Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices. * Familiarity with imaging tools and deployment processes. * Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified (MCP/Modern Desktop) are a plus. * Willing to provide onsite support and occasional after-hours support if required Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
