Based in Egypt and working remotely, you will travel to GCC client sites as required. This is a senior role; we need someone who can lead architecture decisions, guide delivery teams, and translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient solutions from day one. * **Location:** Egypt (Remote) GCC Travel Required * **Employment Type:** Full-Time * **Reports To:** Digital Solutions Delivery Manager * **Language Requirement:** Arabic and English (Mandatory) **Roles & Responsibilities** ---------------------------- ### **Enterprise Solution Architecture** * Define the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for large-scale projects aligned with enterprise architecture standards. * Design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions across Cloud, Microservices, Integration Platforms, Automation, and Data/AI technologies. * Act as the decision-maker on architecture choices, evaluating and selecting the right technologies for each business need. * Establish and enforce architecture governance, design patterns, and development standards across all delivery efforts. * Own Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), ensuring all technical decisions are documented and traceable. ### **Technical Team Leadership** * Lead and mentor large project teams, including senior developers and technical leads. * Oversee technical implementation and delivery, ensuring adherence to architectural design and project milestones. * Act as the escalation point for technical challenges — providing hands-on guidance to unblock the team. * Manage technical debt proactively, balancing delivery speed with long-term maintainability. * Foster engineering excellence through code reviews, pair programming, and internal tech knowledge sharing. ### **DevSecOps & Quality Engineering** * Champion CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices. * Define SLAs, SLOs, and observability standards including logging, monitoring, and alerting. ### **Strategic Business & Delivery Alignment** * Translate business objectives and digital service requirements into clear, executable technical specifications. * Proactively identify technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks across the delivery lifecycle and implement mitigation strategies. * Define implementation and deployment strategies that align with client and business goals. **Qualification and Education Requirements** -------------------------------------------- * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. * Cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP- highly desirable. * Architecture framework certification like TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent — preferred. * Additional professional certifications in relevant technologies are an advantage. **Minimum Experience / Skills Required** ---------------------------------------- * 15+ years of overall experience in software development and solution architecture. * Minimum 5 years in a dedicated Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect role. * Fluency in Arabic and English. * Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP. * Experience with architecture frameworks — TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent. * Strong background in Networking and Systems related to software deployment and architecture design. * Familiarity with Agile and SAFe delivery methodologies at scale. * Proven ability to lead large, multi-disciplinary technical teams across complex projects. * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills able to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. * Experience in government or enterprise systems integration is a strong advantage. * Based in Egypt with availability to travel to GCC countries for project assignments. **Ready to take on the challenge?** Click below to submit your application.
