Draftsman – Architectural / Construction

**Role Overview** The Draftsman will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and plans in support of architectural and construction projects. Working closely with architects, engineers, and project managers, you will translate design concepts and specifications into clear, precise technical documentation. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) * Develop construction documents including floor plans, site plans, and detail drawings * Interpret and implement design briefs, sketches, and specifications provided by architects and engineers * Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building codes, standards, and project specifications * Revise and update drawings based on feedback from project teams and site observations * Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve technical drawing queries * Maintain organised and up-to-date drawing registers and document control systems * Assist in preparing material schedules, take-offs, and as-built drawings **Requirements** * Diploma or degree in Architectural Drafting, Engineering Drawing, or a related field * Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit or BIM tools is an advantage * Solid understanding of architectural and construction drawing conventions and standards * Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and engineering documents * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Good communication and team collaboration skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines **What We Offer** * A collaborative and professional work environment * Exposure to diverse and challenging projects * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Competitive compensation package Application Question(s): * Did you attach your portfolio file to the application?
