Draftsman (Mid to High Rise Building Construction)

**Key Responsibilities for Draftsman** * Preparation of accurate and detailed architectural, structural, and construction drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and working details using AutoCAD and/or Revit * Production of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction detailing for mid- to high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments in compliance with approved IFC drawings * Conversion of engineer and architect sketches, design calculations, and mark-ups into precise, coordinated technical drawings ready for site execution * Review and revision of drawings in response to RFIs, site conditions, consultant comments, and design changes throughout the project lifecycle * Coordination with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy, cross-discipline alignment, and design intent * Preparation and submission of authority drawings in compliance with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, and other relevant UAE regulatory requirements * Maintenance of drawing registers, document control logs, and revision records in accordance with project document management procedures * Assistance in the preparation of BOQ take-offs and material schedules by extracting quantities and dimensions from finalized drawings * Support to the site team through timely issuance of updated drawings, clarification sketches, and technical documentation as required * Ensure all drawings comply with UAE building codes, project specifications, and quality standards prior to submission or issue **Requirements** * Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related discipline * Minimum 8–10 years of experience in technical drafting, with a strong focus on mid- to high-rise building construction in the UAE * UAE experience is mandatory; Dubai project experience strongly preferred * Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D); working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows is a strong advantage * Solid understanding of architectural, structural, and construction drawing standards and conventions * Familiarity with Dubai Municipality submission requirements, UAE building codes, and local authority approval processes * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents accurately * Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to manage multiple drawing packages simultaneously * Good communication and coordination skills within a multicultural project team environment * Eligibility to work in the UAE (employment visa provided) **About Projenco Global** Projenco is a Dubai-based firm that provides comprehensive advisory and delivery partner services to commercial and institutional developers.
