Role Summary Responsible for preparing accurate civil and MEP drawings and coordinating between disciplines for building and villa construction projects. This role supports engineers and site teams with updated drawings, technical documentation, and coordination across UAE and Ethiopia sites. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed civil, architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for buildings and villas. * Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings for all trades. * Coordinate between civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines to eliminate clashes. * Update drawings based on site conditions, engineer instructions, and design revisions. * Review consultant drawings and highlight discrepancies or missing details. * Maintain drawing logs, revision records, and ensure proper document control. * Assist engineers with quantity take-offs, BOQs, and technical submissions. * Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and ensure drawing accuracy. * Support BIM/CAD standards and maintain consistency across all project drawings. * Coordinate with subcontractors to collect technical inputs and integrate them into drawings. * Ensure compliance with UAE authority standards (DM, DDA, DEWA, DCD) and adapt to local requirements in Ethiopia. Skills & Competencies Required * Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting standards. * Good understanding of building and villa construction, civil works, and MEP systems. * Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate multidisciplinary drawings. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting. * Good communication and coordination skills with engineers and site teams. * Ability to manage multiple drawing packages and meet deadlines. Qualifications & Experience * Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. * 4–8 years of experience as a Civil/MEP Draftsman (UAE experience preferred). * Experience in villa and building projects is mandatory. * Knowledge of UAE authority standards; exposure to international projects (Ethiopia) is an advantage.
