In this role, you'll be responsible for safely transporting workers, materials, and equipment to and from job sites while maintaining the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and operational excellence. This position offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a collaborative organization that values efficiency, transparency, and an unwavering commitment to safety. * Safely operate and transport workers, materials, and equipment to and from work sites while ensuring all passengers adhere to safety protocols, including consistent use of seat belts and proper load securing procedures * Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure the vehicle remains in optimal working condition at all times * Maintain detailed records of daily activities, fuel consumption, mileage, and any incidents or delays, reporting progress to management with accuracy and transparency * Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, UAE driving regulations, and company policies regarding safe vehicle operation, speed limits, and load management * Plan efficient routes and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules while demonstrating exceptional organizational skills * Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment * Respond promptly and decisively to mechanical issues or roadside emergencies, implementing appropriate solutions or requesting assistance when needed * Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the organization positively in all interactions with clients and the public * Demonstrate resilience and flexibility in managing challenging driving conditions and unexpected situations * Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks and identify potential issues before they become critical problems **Qualifications** * Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with heavy vehicle endorsement and current UAE driving license ( Category 4 & 6) * Minimum of 5 years of proven experience driving large or heavy-duty vehicles in professional settings * Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents * Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and ability to perform routine inspections * Strong familiarity with safety regulations, traffic laws, and UAE-specific driving requirements * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team * Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role, including the ability to lift and secure heavy materials and equipment * Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail * Proficiency in defensive driving techniques and knowledge of cargo securing and load management * Reliability, punctuality, and a demonstrated commitment to safety and professional conduct * Problem-solving abilities and resilience in managing challenging situations and roadside emergencies * Ability to operate GPS navigation systems and digital logbook management tools * Mechanical troubleshooting skills and basic understanding of vehicle diagnostics * Preferred: Experience with fleet management systems and advanced safety technologies
