Electrical BIM Modeler

An Electrical BIM Modeler creates, manages, and updates detailed 3D models of electrical systems using software like Revit and AutoCAD in building construction projects. They are responsible for designing lighting, power, and containment layouts (conduits/cable trays), performing clash detection, ensuring compliance with standards, and producing construction documents. **Key Responsibilities and Roles:** * **3D Modeling & Design:** Develop detailed 3D models of electrical panels, Transformers, cable trays, raceways, and lighting fixtures. * **Clash Detection & Coordination:** Utilize Navisworks and other ACC model coordination tools to detect and resolve conflicts between electrical components and other MEP, structural, or architectural systems. * **Electrical System Drafting:** Create 2D schematics, single-line diagrams, electrical room layouts, and lighting layouts based on project specifications. * **Data Integration:** Add detailed metadata (such as material specs and dimensions) to the 3D components. * **Compliance & Standards:** Ensure all models and documentation adhere to ICAO/IES and project-specific standards. * **Collaboration:** Work with electrical engineers and other team members to update models and produce "Issue-For-Construction" drawings. **Required Skills and Software:** * **Software Proficiency:** Expert knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360/ACC. * **Technical Knowledge:** Understanding of electrical design principles, electrical systems, and construction documentation. * **Communication:** Effective coordination with team members to resolve design issues. * **Detail-Oriented:** Ability to create accurate layouts for conduits, lighting, and grounding. **Requirements** * Proven experience in Civil & MEP works * Candidates must be currently available in Abu Dhabi * Immediate joining is mandatory How to Apply Interested candidates are requested to send their CV along with the following details: * Full Name * Nationality * Age * UAE experience in Civil / MEP companies * Position applied for * Contact Number * Email ID * UAE experience in the applied position * Experience in current company (years) * Equivalency Certificate (Yes / No) * MOFA Attested Degree Certificate (Yes / No) * Current Location * Visa Status * Notice Period * Current Salary * Expected Salary **Submit Your Application** * [email protected] * [email protected] * WhatsApp: +971 52 506 0851 (WhatsApp only) Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
