Electrical Engineer (Contracting Company)

**Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our contracting team and support the design, execution, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems across construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in site supervision, technical coordination, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project requirements * Execute and supervise installation of electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, etc.) * Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and other engineering disciplines * Ensure all work complies with local authority regulations and safety standards * Prepare technical submittals, material approvals, and shop drawings review * Conduct site inspections and monitor subcontractor performance * Assist in testing, commissioning, and final handover of electrical systems * Maintain project documentation, reports, and progress updates * Troubleshoot electrical issues on-site and propose solutions * Ensure timely completion of work within budget and schedule **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field * 2–7+ years of experience in contracting / construction industry * Strong knowledge of electrical systems in commercial/residential projects * Familiarity with local authority standards and codes (DEWA / ADDC / etc. if applicable) * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Experience with AutoCAD (Revit is a plus) * Strong site coordination and communication skills * Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced project environments **Preferred Skills** * Experience in MEP contracting companies * Knowledge of ELV systems (fire alarm, CCTV, access control) * Project execution and site supervision experience * Valid driving license (if required for site mobility) Application Question(s): * your nationality ?
