Electrical Engineer (Design and Construction – TAQA Approved)

**Job Summary:** Manage and supervise electrical works on building and infrastructure projects. Ensure all installations are completed in line with project specifications and TAQA authority requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare design and load calculation as per the standard engineering and regulations. * Estimation and material take off * Preparing projects BOQ * Preparing shop drawings and as built drawings * Full awareness of TAQA portal for submission, approvals and projects handing over process. * Supervise day-to-day electrical construction activities on site * Manage installation of LV systems, cable trays, conduits, panels, and lighting systems * Oversee MV works including cable laying, duct banks, and coordination for external connections * Ensure work is executed as per approved shop drawings and method statements * Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other trades on site * Raise Inspection Requests (IRs) and follow up for consultant/TAQA approvals * Ordering materials and follow up with suppliers. * Ensure compliance with project specifications and ADDC/AADC regulations * Monitor subcontractors’ work quality and progress * Maintain site documentation including daily reports and as-built drawings * Ensure health and safety standards are strictly followed **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering * TAQA Approval (mandatory for Abu Dhabi projects) * 3–8 years of UAE. experience in construction/MEP electrical works. * UAE Valid driving licence. * Strong experience in site execution (not design-focused) * Well knowledge of LV systems and basic MV infrastructure coordination * Excellent ability to prepare, read and interpret electrical drawings as per the latest software. * Good coordination and communication skills **Preferred:** * UAE construction project experience * Exposure to utility coordination (ADDC/AADC) Excellent QA/QC documentation knowledge Work Location: In person
