Electrical Engineer (MEP)

**Position Overview** We are seeking a qualified and dynamic **Electrical Engineer** with experience in **building construction projects** to join our team in Dubai. The candidate must have strong technical expertise in **Electrical & Plumbing systems**, hands-on site handling experience, and the ability to manage **clients, consultants, and project teams** effectively. The role requires excellent communication, technical knowledge of DEWA regulations, proficiency in AutoCAD, and a valid UAE light driving license. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise and manage **electrical and plumbing works** at construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications, local authority regulations, and quality standards. * Coordinate with **consultants, clients, and contractors** to ensure smooth execution of works and timely resolution of technical/site issues. * Prepare, review, and modify **AutoCAD drawings**, shop drawings, and as-built drawings as required for electrical and plumbing services. * Ensure all site activities adhere to **Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and relevant authority guidelines**. * Monitor project progress, prepare site reports, and escalate issues to the Project Manager for timely decision-making. * Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and material approvals in line with project requirements. * Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for timely delivery of approved materials and services. * Provide technical input during design, execution, testing, and commissioning stages of electrical and plumbing systems. * Maintain strong professional relationships with consultants and clients to achieve smooth project handover. * Enforce strict adherence to **HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment)** standards on site. **Qualifications & Skills** * Bachelor’s Degree in **Electrical Engineering** * **Minimum 4 years’ experience** in building construction projects in the UAE. * Strong knowledge of **Electrical & Plumbing systems** in high-rise / commercial / residential building projects. * Familiarity with **DEWA regulations, approvals, and processes**. * Proficient in **AutoCAD** and other engineering software tools. * Excellent **site handling, leadership, and coordination skills**. * Strong **communication, negotiation, and client-handling abilities**. * Proven ability to manage consultants, resolve technical conflicts, and ensure timely project delivery. * Valid **UAE Light Driving License** (mandatory). **Preferred Attributes** * Strong command over **technical documentation and site reporting**. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure. * Problem-solving mindset with proactive site management skills. * Team player with proven leadership capabilities.
