Electrical Engineer (Residential Building and Villas)

Role Summary We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage and supervise electrical works for building and villa construction projects across UAE and Ethiopia operations. The role involves electrical design coordination, site execution, quality control, testing, commissioning, and ensuring project completion as per technical and safety standards. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and manage all electrical installation works for building and villa projects. * Review electrical drawings, load schedules, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications. * Coordinate with civil, architectural, mechanical, and plumbing teams for smooth project execution. * Monitor installation of power systems, lighting systems, cable routing, panels, earthing, and low-current systems. * Ensure electrical works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. * Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. * Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams. * Identify site issues and provide technical solutions during project execution. * Prepare progress reports, inspection requests, technical submittals, and project documentation. * Review material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and BOQs. * Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations. * Coordinate with local authorities and ensure compliance with UAE electrical standards and project requirements in Ethiopia. Skills & Competencies Required * Strong knowledge of electrical systems for buildings and villas. * Good understanding of power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, fire alarm systems, and grounding systems. * Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications. * Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and project reporting tools. * Ability to manage multiple project activities and meet deadlines. Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. * 5–10 years of experience in electrical engineering for building and villa projects (UAE experience preferred). * Experience in site execution, testing, commissioning, and contractor coordination is mandatory. * Knowledge of UAE authority standards (DEWA, DM, DCD, DDA); international project exposure is an advantage.
